San Clemente is the southernmost city in Orange County, and its Spanish-village character and steep coastal hills make for some of the most interesting hauls we do. We clear homes in Talega, the 3,500-acre master-planned community in the northeast with its 40-plus neighborhoods and Fred Couples golf course, plus Rancho San Clemente up against the inland hills, Forster Ranch, Marblehead, the Coast District, and the red-tile-roof homes of Central San Clemente near the pier and downtown Avenida Del Mar.
The work splits between the master-planned tracts and the old beach town. In Talega and Forster Ranch we do the family stuff — garage purges, playroom clear-outs, and pre-sale cleanouts in homes built in the last 25 years. Down in Central San Clemente and the Coast District, the homes are older, smaller, and often beach rentals or second homes, so we see a lot of turnover hauls: tenant leave-behinds, sun-rotted patio furniture, and the renovation debris that comes with updating a classic Spanish bungalow.
Access is the real San Clemente story. This is the steepest coastal terrain in the county — narrow hillside streets, homes stacked on bluffs with stairs down to the entrance, tight downtown lots near the pier with no driveway, and ocean-view properties where the only way in is a long flight of steps.
